Description:

MOXIRES-T is a potent ophthalmic solution combining Moxifloxacin (0.5%) and Tobramycin (0.3%) to treat complex bacterial infections of the eye.
● Moxifloxacin, a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone, inhibits bacterial DNA Gyrase and topoisomerase IV, providing broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity.
● Tobramycin, an effective aminoglycoside antibiotic, combats Gram-negative bacteria and enhances efficacy against resistant strains.
This synergistic formulation offers superior protection and treatment outcomes in inflammatory ocular conditions associated with infections.

Indications:

● Bacterial Conjunctivitis
● Post-Operative Infection Prevention
● Post-LASIK Infection Prevention

Spectrum of Activity:

● Effective against Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative bacteria
● Active against Streptococci, Staphylococci, and Pseudomonas species
● Enhanced action due to combination therapy

Resistance:

● Counteracts resistance to Moxifloxacin with Tobramycin’s action

Adverse Effects:

Warnings:

● Remove contact lenses before use
● Use within one month of opening
● Discontinue if solution changes color or becomes cloudy

Dosage and Administration:
